The Aventon Current REC is ideal for riders looking for a powerful yet practical eMTB. It’s just as well suited for weekend trail rides as it is for the commute to work during the week. Thanks to its full equipment package, including lights, fenders, a rear rack and a kickstand, this electric mountain bike is versatile and ready to use from day one.
The Current REC is equipped with a fully integrated 800 Wh battery and offers a range of up to 168 km. This makes it ideal for longer rides, spontaneous outings, and everyday use without constantly having to think about the next charging opportunity.
The Aventon Current REC features an Aventon Ultro S+ mid-drive motor with up to 100 Nm of torque. It delivers powerful yet smooth support, giving you a natural riding feel on steep climbs, gravel paths and everyday routes alike. This results in greater control, more riding enjoyment, and a confident feel across a wide range of terrain.
The Current REC comes equipped with 140 mm of suspension travel front and rear, delivering both comfort and controlled handling on rough terrain. This setup is complemented by 29-inch wheels, a balanced geometry, a Shimano CUES 10-speed drivetrain, and hydraulic Magura brakes. The result is an eMTB that feels confident and capable both on the trail and in everyday riding.
The Aventon Current REC offers modern security features such as integrated GPS tracking, 4G connectivity, an alarm function, and notifications in the event of unauthorized access. A personal startup password also helps protect against unwanted use. This gives you greater peace of mind and helps you keep a closer eye on your e-bike even when you are not riding it.
